It is Fall in North Carolina

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Though there is a lot of things going on through-out the world it was a great day to spend wife my wife.

Enjoying the morning, together and the afternoon and evening outside fixing up things around the house or just walking around the property.

The weather was so nice outside, near 70F, not much on the way of wind and sunny. All and all a great day.

The last four days have been filled with flying and working on my ebook, which learning the design part with the HTML5 and CSS3 kicks my butt at times it is all good. I have not had much time to stay on top of things but this is one really worth looking into.

I do have this one bit of great info, it is from the Occupy Wall Street it call Occupy the Board Room

Though you can’t see the executives email address, which rightly done you can email any one of the ones you want. Here is a snap shot of the page  I love the Pen Pals of BFF option, classy.

Rainy San Diego

Saturday, February 19th, 2011

To some it is not a perfect day in San Diego because of the light rain, but I think it is cool.

I have always believed that rain is Mother Natures way of cleansing the earth, refreshing, nourishing, and plus it always smells great. Fresh rain.

See the sun has already poked its head back through the clouds.

Back in Tazza D’ Oro, café for some great coffee and of course people watching. On the corner of Cedar and India in San Diego’s Italian district. With huge windows, spacious seating, great staff and delicious coffee, it is my new favorite hang out when I come to San Diego.

It is still early, and will have lunch next door at Burger Lounge, then back to the hotel for a quick nap before flying San Diego – Philadelphia, (SAN-PHL). The red eye always an interesting flight, with lots of colorful people.

I have to really buckle down and make a schedule, for working and studying. Since I am going back to reserves next month I am going to be hard pressed for my time. (Free time) since scheduling like to be controlling, which is crazy I know but that is the way they are.

Last night I was thinking that I should try and post to this site 4 times a week and the other 2 sites PriesterFamilyTree and MyNameIsPriester at least 3 times week. That with learning the HTML, CSS and InDesign my hands will busy.

Break time for a little reading about WordPress programing.

It is a New Year, time enact change

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

This is my first post since the beginning of the New Year. I have 4 blogs that I will be working on, the first is this one, MatthewPriester.com, the next 2 PriesterFamilyTree.com and MyNameIsPriester.com are blogs that will be used and dedicated to bringing a better understanding of Priesters through-out the world. Along with helping to connect family members through-out the world through a exchange of information, stories, and photographs.

I last of the 4 and certainly not the least is iBookBuddy.com, it is an ebook development company I am starting up, with lots of innovative ideas for the future readers in electronic media plus back to the future ideas for those who embrace  the old school approach.

After finishing up the year with a cold, I decided I was flushing out the old undesirable portions of my life that had been weighing me down. So one day after my Birthday and one the most enjoyable and delicious meals with family and friends, hosted and cooked by husband and wife team Pavle Milic and Emily Pullen ( who can be visited Monday-Sunday with their partner award winning chef and crew at FnB in Old Town Scottsdale, yes it is a plug for their restaurant, once you try it you will know what I mean and what others are talking about) it is time to enact some changes.

I am a freshly minted MBA grad, a big weight off my shoulders, with studying and working at the same time. I have continued studying though to make myself more marketable, HTML, XHTML, CSS, ebook design and development, plus a few of things on the side I want to incorporate.

Genealogy  is only a small part of the incorporation, which includes producing better on-line tools for producing ebook and hard copy books about families, history, trees and creating a electronic standard for genealogy files.

But more on those subject as the weeks progress, today though I am hoping that I will be able to attend Hercegfalva, (old name) now Mezöfalva, Hungary on Apr 9th 2011 for the 2ooth year anniversary  of the town and where my Great Grand Parents came from. It will be fun, educational, and historical. I will keep you up dated.
